Funnily enough that's how the tracking formula works... (angular velocity)... |

Yeah but it's terribly slow to read (because it's a horrible decimal 10+ digits long) while transversal is instantly obvious
Ah I'm used to it now, plus transversal alone doesn't tell you if you are capable of hitting, as you need to factor in the range. Just personal preference I guess, like the size thing, I recognise things quickly by their size, got used to doing that before they added 'type'... *shrugs*
Edit: First real test of new PC, yay for full effects! --------------

Simple way round that is to not shoot the blue ones...[ :p]
It helps to see who's crashed and needs pulling back into gang as they log back in onto the grid.
Edit: Forgot about the rats! those cheeky bastards appeared on the killboard! |

Lots of fun, should probably post a summary:
So we take a 90-Man Rodrigez Boy's plus Cult of War gang up to U-S, Arcane are setup bubbling the L-1 gate with a largely Battleship gang, and up to 10 Carriers worth of fighters (going off KB for that), we jump in...
...After the first battle we hold the gate, with the remaining Arcane warping off, possibly because they heard a ~100 man GBC mostly HAC gang is inbound, they [GBC] jump into is and round two starts... GBC then warps off after quite a long fight, guessing they heard the SOT gang was inbound...
We pull back one jump, repair/re-arm and jump back in, this time with SOT on the L-1 gate. Someway into this fight, the GBC gang warps back in right on top on the SOT snipers... Anyway after round three and with local at 346 we hold the gate as seen in the screenshot, and decide to call it a night. I gather there was some further action between GBC/Arcane/SOT, maybe someone else could comment on that.
I know FOE lost one Battleship, PMS one, and some support (interceptors) died, obviously the killboard is confused as hell as to who is 'friendly' and who is 'enemy', it's even put three of the Arcane carriers on the opposite side to their comradesą
